Apples & Snakes: Jerwood Arts
Poetry in Performance Award

In 2021, In 2021, I was selected for the Jerwood Arts Apples and Snakes Poetry in Performance Award — a national programme designed to support poets creating bold work for live audiences. The selection panel included Joelle Taylor, Vicki Dela Amedume, and representatives from Apples and Snakes and Jerwood Arts.

This included structured support to help us develop our creative practice and explore the intersections of poetry and performance, and workshops led by Jan Blake, Polarbear, Rob Young, Stacy Makishi and more.

My cohort also included lisa luxx, Reece Williams, Sarah Lasoye, Desree and John Bernard.
